STORY OUTLINE
William Kearsley was born in Port Douglas and enlisted Port Douglas, January 2015 aged 21.
He embarked on the Karoola in June 2015 and served with the 5th Light Horse as a Driver in the Middle East.
He survived the war and returned to Australia on the Dunlace Castle, which departed Suez 17 July 1919.
