STORY OUTLINE

Peter Kearns enlisted at Cairns (Mossman connection?) and embarked at Brisbane for overseas on the ship HMAT "Boona" and disembarked at Plymouth England.

Hospitalised at Fovent & Fargo Military Hospitals in Wiltshire for bronchitis and finally sent home on the hospital ship HMAT Nestora because of chronic bronchitis and discharged three months later having not seen action overseas.
