STORY OUTLINE
Stephen Boyle was born in Port Douglas but at the time of WWI his family was in Townsville, where he enlisted. At Enoggera he applied for and received five days leave to visit his mother 20-24 November 1916. However, he did not answer roll-call on 25 November or subsequently. He was never traced by the Army.
