Port Douglas born William Logue enlisted at Port Douglas in January 1915.
He embarked from Brisbane on the Kyarra with the 15th Battalian in April 1915, presumably bound for Gallipoli.
His service record provides little information about what happened then - the next we read is that he was discharged on 7 December 1915.
He received the three war medals (the 14/15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal).
He also received a war pension for a couple of years.
