STORY OUTLINE
A young Irishman joins the AIF in Mossman, QLD. He survives Gallipoli, only to be gassed in France.
After a lengthy period of hospitalisation, he returns to Australia and is discharged in June 1918. He marries an Irish munitions worker in Ireland 12 November 1918 and they settle in Tugun QLD. James Patrick Keogh died 31 August 1940, aged 50.
