STORY OUTLINE

Labourer, Angus Cameron Blain, was born on the Isle of Man, next of kin, Mr Blain, Blackpool, At 21 yrs old, he enlisted at Townsville on 11-12-15. A private in the 49th Battalion he was wounded in action in France and sent to Wandsworth Hospital in England. On 16-10-16 he sailed to Australia with tibia, thigh and arm problems where he was discharged on 27-12-16. A pension claim that came from the Mossman Post Office was cancelled on 2-08-17.
