STORY OUTLINE

Edward Peterson enlisted at Port Douglas in January 1915, aged 26. He fought with the 2nd Light Horse in Gallipoli but on 3 November 1915 he died of wounds and was buried at the 13th Casualty Clearing Station, Gallipoli Peninsula.

A package returned to Mr W Petersen, Mossman, contained one jersey, three mufflers, two pairs gloves, two pairs mittens, one pair spurs, two handkerchiefs, two collars, two spools of film and one prayer book.
