STORY OUTLINE
Private Thomas Chambers enlisted in Port Douglas on 13/01/1915 and embarked in Brisbane per A55 "Kyarra" on the 16/04/1915. On the 8/08/1915 He was reported as missing at Gallipoli Peninsula, then the same day reported KILLED IN ACTION". A court of enquiry was held at Serapoum in April 1916 by the 4th Australian Brigade Headquarters at Alexandria. His Name is on the Memorial Plaque, Memorial Scroll & "Where the Australians Rest".
